What is the Stomper’s Stomp?
Stomper’s Stomp Presented by the A’s is a kids fun run for 2-8 year olds on Saturday, August 11th at 3p. Participants should meet our team at the Finish Line at 2:45p where we will then escort them to their appropriate start line. 2-3 year olds have an 80 yard course, 4-5 year olds have a 200 yard course and 6-8 year olds have a 300 yard course.
Are there aid stations on course?
Our Half Marathon will have an aid station around every two miles (six total). Each aid station will have water, nuun sports drink, and portable toilets. Our aid station at mile 8 will also feature energy gels.
The 5K does not have any aid stations on-course, but we’ll have water, toilets, and nuun for you at the finish line!
Where do I park on race morning?
Street parking as well as parking garages are plentiful throughout the Downtown area near our Start Line. We strongly suggest carpooling and arriving early, so we’re able to close streets and start the race on time. Please note: 12th Street BART is an accessible option for participants on Saturday, August 11th, but does not run early enough on Sunday, August 12th to accommodate Half Marathoners.
Where are the restrooms?
Portable toilets will be located along the 14th Street side of the festival area, along with hand washing stations.
Where will official results be posted?
After the race, results will be posted at oaktownhalf.com.
I still have questions! How can they get answered?
Feel free to reach us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
See you at the Start Line!
